Chanoyu, the Japanese tea ceremony, is the traditional culture that best represents Japanese hospitality. Every detail of the etiquette of making and drinking a bowl of tea is filled with heartfelt communication. It is a comprehensive art of Japan, combining various traditional Japanese arts and crafts. When faced with a tea bowl filled with matcha, how should you drink it?
Enjoy delicious sweets and matcha while learning the proper manners when tea is served to you as a guest.
This tea ceremony lesson takes place in Nikaido, an old Japanese house that has been turned into a gallery and retains the atmosphere of old Kamakura, . The view of the lush , traditional garden is also elegant.
You can also experience making matcha using a tea whisk.
Exhibition of denim KIMONO produced by Kisa
At the same venue, we are also holding an exhibition of denim KIMONO produced by Kisa.
The KIMONO are made of denim from Kurashiki, which is world famous as a production area for denim fabric,
For living by the sea, suitable for Kamakura and Hayama,
the stitching adds a casual feel to the denim KIMONO.
Of course, even in the city, you can enjoy denim KIMONO just like wearing jeans.

we will also guide you about how to coordinate accessories such as OBI and OBIAGE to match kimono.
